Bundaberg City Council


The City Council Visitors Centre is located as part of the Council's main office in Bourbong Street. Being situated in the Central Business District the Centre is an ideal location to provide residents and visitors alike with information on the Bundaberg region. Such information as maps, events calendar, regional booklets, community information, accommodation, restaurants, tourist attractions (including a skatebowl brochure), historical information, fishing trips, car rental are only a small portion of the information which you can obtain. Turtle tours, Lady Musgrave Island and Lady Elliot Island trips may be booked through the Centre. Visitors and residents travelling throughout Queensland can also obtain information for their chosen destination.

Front window displays and in-house exhibitions promoting local events, community organisations and tourist attractions are changed fortnightly or monthly. A notice board displaying coming events along with a daily weather report can be accessed 24 hours a day. A range of souvenirs are available and these include a book and video on Bundaberg.

The Bundaberg City Visitor Information Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am - 12:00pm (Closed Public Holidays).
