Conwal & Associates have been contracted to conduct a Security Risk Threat & Analysis of the Bundaberg central business district.
Previously published studies and statistics have been reviewed to provide background on critical issues relevant to this area.

The geographical area for investigation encompassed the Bundaberg CBD grid which included:

• Retail, Council and Community Infrastructure
  • Quay Street
  • McLean Street
  • Woondooma Street
  • Toonburra Street
• Review of existing infrastructure
• Possible Legal and Civil requirements within the retail CBD sector

Conwal & Associates provides specialist support and guidance in relation to Government & Corporate Security Risk Threats & Analysis. During the initial stages two Community Response Officers from Maroochy Shire Council assisted in this Security threat.

These officers are appointed as Authorized Officers under the Local Government Act 1993 and during the assessment period where also endorsed by the BSCAT and Bundaberg Regional Council.

Director of Government & Public Safety Services Mr Wayne Condon is the certifying authority for this report which has been submitted.
