Busking provides good street entertainment for the CBD of Bundaberg and can enhance the vitality of the city. The Council allows busking and street entertainment in some areas of the CBD as long as you obtain a permit and comply with the regulations. There is no busking without a permit.

Permit Conditions

• Permit fee payable of $5.00.
• Limit of one permit per person/group.
• Permit applies to one location only for a maximum period of one month.
• There be no hinderance to pedestrians.
• Permit to be available for inspection at all times.
• Noise to be kept at a reasonable level.
• Amplified music not permitted.
• Community group use only - not for political or business advertising.
• Busking to be between the hours of 8.45 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
• If busking in the Central Business District, you must provide a letter from the business you will be busking in front of giving you permission to busk there.
