Rail Bundaberg is located on the main North Coast Railway between Brisbane, the State's capital, and Cairns, in the north.
Tilt Train: The revolutionary Tilt Train provides 2 services per day between Bundaberg and Brisbane. Travel time is a leisurely 4 hours. The Tilt Train provides both Business and Economy class travel.

Non Tilt Train services: Regular rail services also operate along the eastern seaboard. Travel time between Brisbane and Bundaberg is approximately five and a half hours. Services provided vary for different days of the week and times of the year.
Road
Bundaberg is four to five hours north of Brisbane, the State's capital. The City accesses the National Highway network via a half-hour trip to either Gin-Gin or Childers via the Isis Highway. Several bus companies service Bundaberg, with regular services to Brisbane and other parts of the state.
Duffy's City Buses and Stewart & Sons Buses provide public transport around Bundaberg. Regular services operate around the city and between the city and the beach throughout the week. Air
The Bundaberg Cab Company provides an alternative to bus travel. Standard, maxi and wheelchair capable cabs are available for hire.
The Bundaberg Airport is located on the south west outskirts of the City, adjacent to the Isis Highway. Bundaberg City's airport terminal caters for intrastate scheduled public passenger transport services for the City and the immediate regional area. Services run frequently throughout the day. Flight time to Brisbane, the state's capital, is approximately 50 minutes.
Sea
The district is served by three marinas at Burnett Heads, Port of Bundaberg and Midtown in the City. Additionally, there are several boat ramps providing access to the waterways for boating enthusiasts.
