School Holiday Program

School Holiday Program

The Bundaberg Arts Centre provides school holiday programs for children aged 6 to 16 years. Activities are designed to introduce children to various art forms and techniques as well as encouraging childrens creative expression. Activities can run from an hour and a half to two hours depending on the type of activity.

What is the cost of activities?

For activity costs, which can vary, please check the latest information provided here. Activity costs include morning or afternoon tea, and are designed only to recover costs.

Do I need to book?

Bookings are essential for all activities as programs are popular and book out well in advance. Payment is required at the time of booking and can be made in person or over the telephone. Please note that the minimum payment accepted by credit card is $10.00, which is often more than the cost of one childs attendance.

Who runs the programs?

Activities are run by the Public Programs Officer, (all Art Centre staff as well as tutors and volunteers that work with children hold a current suitability card for child related employment issued by the Commission for Children & Young People, commonly known as the blue card). Specialist tutors are also invited to run programs while Arts Centre volunteers may also provide assistance.

Parents and Guardians

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the programs but this is not required unless otherwise stated.
