Applying for an Exhibition
The Bundaberg Arts Centre has three distinct exhibition spaces- the main gallery- Gallery One; The Vault Contemporary Art Space; and Gallery Two- a community group and local and emerging artist orientated space.
The Vault
The Vault is a converted 1920's bank vault. It is ideal for installation based work. The concrete walls
that make up the Vault's perimeter harness various acoustic possibilities. The space is comprised of a
low entrance doorway, white tiles and is in two sections with the front section being slightly smaller then
the second. The Vault is a unique space, rare in any gallery, offering artists a unique opportunity
Gallery One
Gallery One predominantly exhibits travelling exhibitions curated by international, national, state or
regional organisations; Arts Centre curated exhibitions of invited artists or independently curated
exhibitions. With approximately 80 linear meters of exhibition space Gallery One has the potential to
be two exhibition spaces, 190 m2 of floor space.
Gallery Two
Gallery Two is an individual artists and community exhibition space. As such Gallery Two aims to promote
partnerships with local and regional community groups and organisations. With approximately 25 linear meters
of display space established and emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
